Hanami Tour Vol. 1: April Fools

Over around here a milky haze is lying. It has been raining heavily like falls. Water drops out of red flower petals are falling down one after another on the surface of a tarn. You see an animal drinking water on the opposite side of the tarn through the haze. You recognise it's two big antlers and round eyes.

After the haze cleared away and the sky brightened, birds begin to sing here and there. you can also hear the rustle of leaves, the sound of jumping frogs to the surface, voices, barks, and moos.

You understand this is a significant place as a social space and an oasis for both people and animals. That's because people stop around here and chat away in spare moments from their work, or bring their livestock for bathing. In addition, food or sundries vendors come here in expectation that their articles for sale would induce people to buy. This place is so peaceful and animated. There must be something attractive here.

あたり一面ミルク色のもやが立ち込めている。今まで激し雨が降っていたのだ。山の池のほとり、赤い花から水滴が一つ、またひとつ水面に落ちる。　もやの中、池野向こう側で何かが水を飲んでいる。　二つの大きな角、丸い目。

もやが消えると空が明るくなり、小島たちがそこかしこでさえずり始める。　さらさらと木の葉がそよぎ、蛙が音を立てて水に飛び込む。　人々の声、犬や牛の鳴き声が聞こえる。

ここは人や動物が集う、心休まる大切な場所。仕事の行き帰り、あるいは仕事の手を休めて人々がやって来ては語らう。そして家畜に水浴びをさせに来たりもする。　そんな人々を当たって込んで、いろいろな物売りがやって来る。

平和で、そして活気に満ちている。　この場所には人々の心を惹きつけてやまない何かがある。
